Info:

Naruto Flash Battle 2 After almost 7 years after the release of Naruto Flash Battle 1, I finally developped NFB2 ! Initially, i decided to create it when I saw the game Gekitou Ninja Taisen on Game Cube. I though that the cell shading looking would be great with flash (vectorial), except of course that GNT is in real 3D. I had the conviction that despite some huge effects and animations, I could have a smooth engine helped by a good optimisation with all the techniques I gained with my experience in games dev. Creating this game had been my greatest experience since my career of games dev. I really wanted to challenge myself by creating everything from A to Z, after i got my degree in animation drawing, I only used some ressources for the sounds effects and musics.

Concerning the game’s evolution, I’ll gradually add some new characters (for now only Naruto is playable). I’m currently developping a replayer mode to the matchs played, I still got some synchronisations issues and then I’ll release it. A second character already on creation with his background stage. I’m also working on the optimisation (with the great "Adobe Scout" profiler), to have it running the best on the maximum of PC configs.

For the curious developpers, I based my engine on the framework Ash entity from Richard Lord, which is wonderfull. The code is really well structured, i heavily recommand it to you if you got a game’s project to do which require a good architecture. I used various libraries that you can see in the game credits (loading handler, tweens, ect...)

Please drop your comments below, on your feedback or an idea, i’ll really appreciate :)
